A quick dessert idea for Diwali, these Rasmalai Tarts are assembled just a couple of hours before the party to prevent sogginess. Made with mini tart shells, rasmalai, and cream frosting, they are beautifully decorated with pistachios and rose petals.

What you need

2 cup heavy cream

1 cup icing sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 dash yellow food color

Instructions

1: Whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

2: Add icing sugar and vanilla extract to the cream and mix well.

3: Transfer the cream mixture into a piping bag with your favorite piping tip.

4: Bake mini tart shells according to the packet instructions.

5: Once baked, place a little cream frosting in each tart shell.

6: Add a layer of rasmalai on top of the cream frosting.

7: Pipe additional cream frosting on top of the rasmalai.

8: Decorate the tarts with rose petals and crushed pistachios.

9: Serve immediately or within a couple of hours to avoid sogginess.
